1. How to Get There: Transportation (교통편)
Getting to Seoraksan is a journey through Korea’s beautiful countryside. To make the most of your day, we recommend starting early (around 7:00 AM).
Step 1: Seoul to Sokcho (서울에서 속초로) Go to Seoul Gyeongbu Bus Terminal(서울고속버스터미널) or East Seoul Bus Terminal(동서울터미널). Take an express bus to Sokcho(속초).
Duration: Approx. 2.5 to 3 hours.
Step 2: Sokcho to Seoraksan Entrance (속초에서 설악산 입구로) Once you arrive in Sokcho, look for Local Bus No. 7 or 7-1(7번 또는 7-1번 시내버스). These buses run frequently and will take you directly to the Seoraksan National Park entrance.
Tip: You can use your T-Money(티머니) card just like in Seoul!
